Created in 2002, the Association Silhouette aims to promote short films to a wide audience. Our desire is to democratize short films and to strengthen their creation, especially through the Silhouette short film Festival, a welcoming festival, open to the general audience as well as to the professionals. Every year, more than 20,000 people attend the free and open air concerts and screenings at night, and the daytime indoors screenings, making the festival the most popular short film festival in Paris.

The Association Silhouette also organizes actions throughout the year, with a special interest for image education issues (workshops, meetings, screenings). Our wish is to focus on the younger audiences, which are kept away from short films by a standardized and uniformed cinematographic industry.

These projects are the work of a team of passionate film-lover volunteers, willing to offer the public a quality event.
